Outgoing Pakistan head coach Mickey Arthur is “extremely disappointed and hurt” after news broke of a parting of ways on Wednesday.
“I did my wholehearted effort to lift Pakistan cricket,” the 51-year-old Arthur told AFP, responding to PCB’s statement earlier in the day.
“On behalf of the PCB, I want to sincerely thank Mickey Arthur, [batting coach] Grant Flower, [trainer] Grant Luden and [bowling coach] Azhar Mahmood for their hard work and unwavering commitment during their tenures with the national men’s team,” Mani said in a statement. “We wish them every success in their future endeavours.”
