Australia have announced their ODI and T20I squad for the series against India, including uncapped all-rounder Cameron Green in the combined 18-member list.
The 21-year-old Green, who plays for Western Australia, has appeared in 17 first-class games so far, averaging 52.23 – his best score of 197 came in the Sheffield Shield 2020/21 fixture against Tasmania last week. Green earned considerable plaudits in the latest episode of Wisden Cricket Weekly Podcast, being referred to as ‘Bradman and Lillee rolled into one’.
Daniel Sams, the uncapped quick who travelled with the Australia team to the UK in September, is also part of the squad.

The side, led by Aaron Finch, marks the return of 33-year-old Moises Henriques, who hasn’t played an ODI or T20I since 2017. All-rounders Henriques and Green made their way into the side with the injured Mitchell Marsh out of contention. Pat Cummins has been named the vice-captain.
The Australia squad will face India in a three-match ODI series, beginning on November 27, which will be followed by a three-T20I series. After the white-ball leg, a four-match Test series will be played, with the final Test scheduled to finish on January 19.
From the Australia contingent that travelled to the UK last month, Marsh, along with Nathan Lyon, Josh Philippe, Andrew Tye and Riley Meredith have been left out. Currently, a good chunk of the squad, including skipper Finch, is in the UAE, featuring in IPL 2020.
India announced their Test, ODI and T20I squad earlier this week. You can check the full squads here.
