All you need to know about Asian Games Women’s Cricket Competition 2026

The eight teams that have qualified for the tournament will compete in a knockout format, starting with the quarterfials, followed by the semifinals and the medal matches. Japan, being the hosts, qualified directly, while four regional full-member nations - India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka received direct entry.

Six teams competed for the final three spots at a qualifier held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from May 26 to May 31. They were split into two groups of three each and the top two teams from each group advanced to the semifinals. Thailand (winners), Malaysia (runners-up) and China (third place) qualified for the Asian Games.

All the matches of the upcoming tournament will be played at the Korogi Sports Park in Nisshin, with starts scheduled for 9am local time (5:30am IST, 1am UK time) and 2pm local time (10:30am IST, 6am UK time).
