Arshdeep SIngh vs Mumbai

India left-arm seamer Arshdeep Singh ran through a Mumbai batting order consisting of big names like Suryakumar Yadav and Shreyas Iyer to pick his second List A five-wicket haul in a Vijay Hazare Trophy game for Punjab.

Punjab won the toss and elected to field first at the Adsa Railways Cricket Ground in Ahmedabad. Arshdeep Singh took the new ball and didn't need much time to get the first breakthrough. The India seamer trapped Angkrish Raghuvanshi lbw on the last ball of the first over, before doing the same with the other opener Ayush Mhatre in the third.

Sanvir Singh then dismissed Mumbai No.3 Hardik Tamore in the fourth over to leave them struggling at 11-3. That was when captain Shreyas Iyer was joined by India T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav. Neither, however, was able to survive Arshdeep's inspired new-ball burst.

Suryakumar was caught on the last ball of the fifth over for a duck while Iyer was cleaned up by Arshdeep on the last ball of the seventh. Shivam Dube walked at No.6 and suffered a similar fate. After adding 33 for the sixth wicket with Suryansh Shedge, he became Arshdeep's fifth victim, giving him his second five-for of his List A career.
