The Asia Cup is one of the most prestigious cricket tournaments in the world. First held in 1984, the tournament brings together the top teams from Asia. The tournament was started as a way to promote cricket in the region. It has now grown into an event that is held every two years.
Every year, online betting rages on during the tournament, and some sites even stream the matches live. During the break between innings, you can play casino games like online blackjack. In some of them, you can also gamble in virtual games. This is the 15th edition of the tournament. In 2020, this tournament was not held due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In 2022, the event is set to return with all teams keen to prove themselves on the pitch.
Previous Tournament Analysis
Out of the six teams that are taking part in this year’s tournament, India have won the cup the most times with seven titles to its name. The team has been led by legends such as Kapil Dev and Sachin Tendulkar in the past.
Sri Lanka have won the tournament three times but the team has struggled in recent years and is currently ranked seventh in the world rankings. They are hoping to improve their ranking and establish themselves at the very top level of international cricket once again.
Bangladesh have never won the tournament but have performed well in recent years and qualified for the next edition of the tournament. They will be looking to qualify for the competition’s final stages.
This will be a crucial tournament to test all the team’s strengths ahead of the ICC World Cup 2023.
