Several parts of the world is in complete shutdown, as countries seek to contain the novel coronavirus, Covid-19 epidemic, and social media has been replete with new ways to kill time. Alex Hartley has joined that list of innovators.
Cricketers have generally set the standard for innovation in these uncertain times of self-isolation, taking up fun challenges, sharing witty videos, and finding out-of-the-box ways to stay fit while remaining indoors.

England Women’s star Hartley’s TikTok clip was the latest among those, as she and her father, David, frolicked about.
It seemed as though David felt forced to cede to his daughter’s request. “Day 1 of lockdown got me ‘forcing’ my dad into making a TikTok,” she wrote on Twitter.

It was the older Hartley who seemed to charm more with his moves, however. “Love the fact your dad is in his suit,” wrote sports broadcaster Alison Mitchell, while team-mate Danielle Wyatt quipped, “Go on Dave lad.”
As for Hartley, she seems to have taken a leaf out of Jos Buttler’s book and showed up in full cricket gear.
