The Abu Dhabi T10 League is underway with several of the biggest names in world cricket competing in the shortest format of the game – here are the T10 League 2022 players from Pakistan, containing the list of Pakistan cricketers for all eight teams.
The sixth season of the league began on November 23, with the reigning champions Deccan Gladiators already registering their first victory of the year, beating Team Abu Dhabi by 35 runs. There are eight teams in the tournament, an increase from six last year, with new teams New York Strikers and Morrisville Samp Army joining the competition.
The entire tournament will be played at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi, with the final set for December 4. Teams will play each other in a round robin format before the knockout stages which include a third place play-off match on the same day as the final.
Nine players from Pakistan will compete in the competition, with several coming in after participating in Pakistan’s incredible run in the 2022 T20 World Cup which saw them reach the final at the MCG before losing out to England.

Team Abu Dhabi: Amad Butt, a bowling all-rounder from Punjab – uncapped in international cricket but he has featured for Jamaica Tallawahs in the Caribbean Premier League as well as Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United in the Pakistan Super League.
Bangla Tigers: Mohammad Amir, 50 T20I caps before his retirement from international cricket in 2020; Iftikhar Ahmed, 43 T20Is for Pakistan including the recent T20 World Cup final.
New York Strikers: Azam Khan, wicket keeper who played three T20Is in 2021 and has played in the CPL as well as the PSL; Wahab Riaz, Pakistan’s second highest wicket-taker in World Cup history and has been clocked at bowling speeds of 96mph.
Deccan Gladiators: Adeel Malik, brother of Shoaib Malik and right-arm leg break bowler.
Delhi Bulls: Karnal Zahid, quick bowler who caught headlines when clocked at lightning speeds in tape ball cricket and plays for Lahore Qalandar in the PSL; Waqas Maqsood, left-arm quick who played one T20I for Pakistan in 2018.
Northern Warriors: Mohammad Irfan, veteran bowler who is the tallest player on record to have played first-class and international cricket at 7’1″.
