The tournament will be held at the Sheikh Zayed stadium in Abu Dhabi from November 19 to December 4, 2021. The league is licensed by the Emirates Cricket Board and is the world’s only 10-over cricket tournament sanctioned by the International Cricket Council (ICC). Over the years, many prominent players have featured in the league. These include Zaheer Khan, Shahid Afridi, Virender Sehwag, Praveen Kumar, Kieron Pollard, Dawid Malan, and Nicholas Pooran.

Previous winners of the tournament include Kerala Kings, Maratha Arabians, and Northern Warriors (twice). Each team will have an icon player, surrounded by talent from around the world. Many top international players will feature in the league, including English players like Eoin Morgan, Moeen Ali, Liam Livingstone, and Jason Roy.
