Last year’s finish: 8th in the South Group

Tournament history: Surrey claimed the first domestic T20 title way back in 2003 and followed that up with a run to the final again in 2004 where they lost to Leicestershire. Recent form has not been as pretty, with their last Finals Day appearance coming back in 2014.

Key player: Will Jacks. A hard-hitting KP-like batsman who has just shown glimpses of his talents since entering the first-team equation in 2018. The 21-year-old struck his 272 runs in last year’s Blast at a strike rate above 150, and the reference point for his outstanding ability remains a 25-ball ton against Lancashire in a pre-season T10 match last year.
