The tournament gets underway on February 21

The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup will begin in Sydney on Friday, February 21 with hosts and defending champions Australia taking on India.

The 10 teams have been split into two groups of five, with the top two sides from each group qualifying for the semi-finals at the SCG on March 5. Most group-stage games will feature as part of a double-header at one ground.

Six venues across four cities will host matches, with the final taking place at the MCG on International Women’s Day.
