Every record broken by Sahibzada Farhan
Farhan's score is the highest in any T20 game in Pakistan as well as by a Pakistani batter in any T20 match, eclipsing Kamran Akmal's 150 not out for Lahore Whites against Islamabad in 2017.
It is also the joint third-highest individual score in men's T20 history after Chris Gayle's 175 and Aaron Finch's 172. Three players apart from Farhan have made 162: Hamilton Masakadza, Hazratullah Zazai, and Dewald Brevis.
Farhan's last four knocks read: 114*, 62, 76, 162*. That's an aggregate of 414 runs at an average of 207 and a strike rate of 189.9. For perspective, the record for the most runs in T20Is belongs to France's Gustav McKeon who made 373 runs in his first four T20Is.
The 11 sixes hit by Farhan is also the second most hit by a batter in any T20 knock in Pakistan. The record belongs to Kamran Akmal, who hit 12 in his unbeaten 150, and Ben Dunk, who hit 12 as well in a PSL game where he finished unbeaten on 99.
What is Farhan's T20I record?
Farhan has played nine T20Is for Pakistan, having debuted seven years back in 2018. He made a comeback to the Pakistan T20I side in 2014, playing two matches against New Zealand, three against Australia and one against Zimbabwe, but is yet to find success at the international level.
Currently, he has 86 runs to show at an average of 9.55 and strike rate of 95.55. With the kind of form he has displayed in this National T20 Cup season, those numbers should change soon.
