Bangladesh will host Sri Lanka for three T20Is. All games will be played at the Sylhet International Stadium.

The hosts will be led by all-format captain Najmul Hossain Shanto, while the visitors will be without regular T20I skipper Wanindu Hasaranga for the first two games following his two-match suspension. Charith Asalanka will lead them in his absence.

Sri Lanka hold the upper hand between the two teams as far as their T20I rivalry is concerned. From 13 games, Bangladesh have won only four while Sri Lanka have won nine. In Bangladesh, the record is tilted even more in favour of Sri Lanka, with the hosts winning only one out of five matches in their own backyard.

The BAN vs SL T20I series starts on Monday (March 8), with the second T20I to be played on March 6 and the third on March 9.

All three matches will start at 6 pm local time, which converts to 5:30 pm India time and 5:30 pm Sri Lanka time.
