The names in the list come from 11 different nations, with 125 players from Test-playing countries and three from Associates. Australia lead the list with 35 players, followed by 20 from New Zealand and 19 from West Indies.

Nepal, UAE and USA are the three Associate nations in the list, represented by one player each.
