Which teams are participating in the Asia Cup?

The upcoming season of the Asia Cup will be played between September 9 and 28 in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. A total of 19 matches will be played among eight sides, with start times now shifted 30 minutes back. Group A includes Oman, UAE, Pakistan and India, while Group B consists of Afghanistan, Hong Kong, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

The top two sides from each group will play the six-game Super Fours stage after 12 group matches, leading to the summit clash.

India enter as the defending champions, having won the title in 2023. They are also the most successful side with eight trophies to their name. Sri Lanka have the second best record with six, while Pakistan have won two.

The tournament will be broadcast on Sony Sports network, and live-stream coverage will be available on the Sony Liv app and website (sonyliv.com).

It will be available on the following channels: Sony Sports 1, Sony Sports 3 (Hindi), Sony Sports 4 (Telugu), Sony Sports 4 (Tamil) and Sony Sports 5.

Asia Cup will be broadcast on TNT Sports 1 in the UK, with live streaming available on the Discovery+ platform.
