Team Selector: Pick your West Indies Test XI to face New Zealand

West Indies will take on New Zealand in a two-match Test series beginning on December 3 – choose the XI you think the Windies should line-up with.

The series is West Indies’ first assignment in the longest form since their 2-1 defeat to England in July.

The red-ball side have warmed up for the series with two matches against New Zealand A, the first a three-day warm-up and the second a first-class affair. The standout performers for the visitors in the two matches were the batting pair of Kraigg Brathwaite and Darren Bravo. Brathwaite faced 400 balls for a score of 246 in the most recent encounter, while Bravo followed up a century in the first match with a knock of 93 in the second.

West Indies’ bowlers had less to shout about from the two fixtures: New Zealand A put up scores of 308-3, 124-1 and 440-8.

The first Test will take place in Hamilton before the action moves to Wellington for the second Test, beginning on December 11.
