Team selector: Pick your India XI to face England when the two sides take on each other in a three-match ODI series.

India have triumphed in both the Tests and T20Is – can they seal victory in the 50-over contests too? An 18-man squad has been picked for the series, which will be India’s first in 50-over cricket since they took on Australia last year.

The one uncapped player in the squad is Prasidh Krishna, a 25-year-old right-arm quick who impressed in the recently concluded Vijay Hazare Trophy. Elsewhere, Suryakumar Yadav could be set to make his ODI debut after impressing in the T20I series win.

The ODI series will see these two teams take on each other in the format for the first time since the 2019 World Cup, when England defeated India in the group stage. The last time the two sides met in a bilateral ODI series was in 2018, when England beat India 2-1 at home.

The three matches will take place on March 23, 26 and 28, with the whole series contested in Pune.
