Watch: Mohammad Amir’s first catch in Test cricket was absolutely incredible

by Wisden Staff 1 minute read

Watch: Seven years after his Test debut, Mohammad Amir took his first catch in Test cricket and it turned out to be a sensational grab.

Amir made his Test debut in 2009, but it took him seven years to take his first catch in Test cricket.

The Pakistan fast bowler was playing his 20th Test against West Indies in Sharjah. Darren Bravo skied a lofted drive off Zulfiqar Babar to cover. It went over the head of Amir, stationed there, but the Pakistan fielder ran backwards and put in a fully-fledged dive to complete a brilliant first catch in Tests.
