Watch: In a hilarious moment, Sanju Samson was seen pocketing the coin after the toss he won in the game between Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings on Monday.

Samson, who was walking out in his maiden IPL game as captain, won the toss and chose to bowl first. Soon after the coin was tossed, the match referee bent down to pick it up, but Samson beat him to it and pocketed it.

The match referee, however, later took the coin from him. Samson, when asked about this after the game, commented: “The coin (of the toss) looked nice so I took it, but the referee said no”
