South Africa will begin 2022 with a home series against India, which will be followed by matches against New Zealand and Bangladesh — here’s the full FTP and schedule of SA in 2022.

South Africa had a mixed 2021, winning 21 of their 38 matches, which gave them a w/l ratio of 1.400. Here’s how their upcoming schedule looks like, in 2022/23.

In between the white-ball series and the Test series against England, South Africa will also play a short two-ODI series against Ireland.

October

Home series v West Indies

The Proteas will host West Indies for three ODIs and two Test matches in October.

October-November

The side will take part in the Men’s T20 World Cup, which will take place in Australia. The Proteas narrowly missed out on making the semis in 2021, missing out due to the Net Run Rate.

December

Away series v Australia

At the end of the year, South Africa is likely to travel to Australia to take part in a three-match Test series along with a three-match ODI series.

Tri-series featuring Sri Lanka and Ireland

The FTP also sees South Africa play an ODI tri-series, which will also feature Sri Lanka and Ireland.
