Watch: Rashid Khan immediately rushed to check on a cameraman after he was injured when a Trent Boult six landed on him during today’s (May 5) IPL 2023 clash between Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans.

RR were in all sorts of trouble at 87-7 in 13.1 overs when Trent Boult walked out to bat. He started off aggressively, hitting the first ball that he faced for four before going over the ropes again two overs later.

Noor Ahmad tossed up a delivery on the leg stump, which Boult swiped away over mid-wicket for a huge six, bringing some cheer to the RR camp. However, the mood was sombre soon after as the ball landed flat on a cameraman, who went down on his knees and had to be given medical assistance from the Rajasthan support staff.

Rashid, who was fielding near mid-wicket also jumped over the ropes and the advertisement board immediately to check on the cameraman. He seemingly assured him, after which Rashid went back into the field of play. The Afghanistan bowler had a successful night, picking up 3-14 as RR were dismissed for 118.

Gujarat chased down the target in 13.5 overs with nine wickets remaining.
