There are no pressing injury concerns for either SRH or LSG since their last game. LSG skipper KL Rahul and SRH’s Washington Sundar remain long-term absentees. SRH dropped Harry Brook for the match against Rajasthan Royals and with Glenn Phillips excelling, they do not have much reason to tinker with that combination.

LSG, meanwhile, could be tempted to bring back Naveen-ul-Haq, having gone in with no frontline overseas bowler in their fixture against Gujarat Titans.

DC are expected to stick to their current overseas complement, which comprises David Warner, Mitchell Marsh, Phil Salt and Rilee Rossouw. If the pitch at Delhi is expected to turn, they might be tempted to persist with Lalit Yadav as well, who featured against Chennai Super Kings in Chennai.

Punjab Kings could look to swap Sam Curran for Kagiso Rabada, although that would mean depleting their batting. The other option could be to bring in Rabada for Bhanuka Rajapaksa, with Atharva Taide possibly replacing an Indian bowler.

SRH are coming into this game on the back of a win and will be high on confidence. LSG, meanwhile, have hit a bit of a rocky patch and in Rahul’s absence, might find it tough to get the better of SRH away from home.

DC have won four out of their last six matches but were comprehensively defeated by CSK in their most recent game. PBKS, meanwhile, also come into this match on the back of a defeat. That said, DC might just be slight favourites because they will be playing at home, where they will enjoy local support, and will have fond memories of the fixture against RCB.
