Watch: Jasprit Bumrah nailed his yorker to dismiss Jos Buttler, who had earlier reached his second IPL hundred, during a clash between Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals on Saturday.

Buttler became the first cricketer to smash a hundred in IPL 2022, taking 66 deliveries to reach the landmark against Mumbai. It was his second hundred in the competition, having scored his maiden T20 century last year against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

His innings, however, came to an end just two deliveries later, as Bumrah whipped out his trademark yorker. The fifth ball of the 19th over was sent down at 144.8kph and tailed in to pass Buttler’s bat and crash into the stumps. It was Bumrah’s third wicket of the day.

Buttler now averages 80 against Mumbai Indians after six innings, scoring 400 runs against them, with four fifty-plus scores. Courtesy of the England player’s knock, Rajasthan put 193-8 on the board, which proved 23 runs too many for the five-time champions.
