Watch: Glenn Maxwell took a cue from RCB skipper Virat Kohli in their IPL 2021 fixture against Punjab Kings, putting on a bewildered expression after being bamboozled and bowled by young Harpreet Brar.

Kohli has been known to make shocked faces time and again after receiving clever deliveries from the bowler, particularly if they result in his wicket. Maxwell, who fell for a golden duck on Friday, followed his skipper’s lead.

The Australian right-hander fell to Brar, who had a dream start to his IPL 2021 campaign. He first played an important cameo, a 17-ball 25*, to help take PBKS past the 170-run mark. He followed that up with a phenomenal performance in the field, accounting for the wickets of Kohli, Maxwell and AB de Villiers.

While Kohli was foxed by a delivery coming in, Maxwell was done by a perfectly executed top-spinner. The right-hander was pushed back into his crease, as a flighted and full delivery from Brar pushed him back into the crease. Maxwell stayed at the crease, with a review needed to show that yes, the ball had indeed crashed into his stumps.
