- Spinners could play a key role – Axar Patel is a great option to have, given his prowess in the powerplay, and Ravi Bishnoi has a knack for picking up wickets while keeping the run-rate in check. Harpreet Brar was on fire in the previous game, and could challenge the DC middle order.
- Among quicks, Avesh Khan is a must-have given his form, who could trouble the Punjab top-order with his genuine pace, especially Gayle. Kagiso Rabada is likely to have a similar impact, but based on form, is unlikely to pick up as many wickets
