The 6ixty, a new 60-ball competition launched by Cricket West Indies, will begin on August 24 — here is where you can watch both the men’s and the women’s events, including live TV and streaming details.

A total of 12 men’s games and seven women’s games will be held in the inaugural season of The 6ixty, which begins at Warner Park on August 24 (August 25 in India). The teams will be fighting for the Universe Boss Trophy, named after Chris Gayle, who is also the ambassador for the tournament.

The competition is in collaboration with the Caribbean Premier League. As a result, all sides who will play in the CPL will also take part in The 6ixty.

The women’s competition will begin first, on August 24. Three teams will take part: Trinbago Knight Riders Women, Barbados Royals Women and Guyana Amazon Warriors Women.

The men’s competition will get underway on August 25, with Guyana Amazon Warriors playing St. Lucia Kings. A total of six men’s teams will take part, as is the norm in the CPL as well.

The 6ixty comes with its own set of rules. Each team will have only six wickets instead of ten. A side will have two powerplay overs but can unlock a third if they manage to hit two sixes in the first 12 balls of the innings. 30 balls will be bowled from one end straight before bowlers switch sides and bowl the last 30 balls from the other end.
