However, in Lauren Winfield-Hill, the most northerly team in The Hundred have a captain in the form of her life. Jemimah Rodrigues is one of the most exciting young personalities in the women’s game, and her aggressive batting has the potential to take The Hundred by storm. South Africa batter Laura Wolvaardt, a late replacement for Alyssa Healy, should also bolster Northern Superchargers’ batting line-up.

Jemimah Rodrigues’ ability with the bat makes her a good choice as a fantasy captain. She has six WT20I 50s to her name. and can also contribute in the field with her right arm off-breaks. Beyond Rodrigues, England international Lauren Winfield-Hill is an experienced international batter, and given she is captaining the team which is based in her home county of Yorkshire, you wouldn’t bet against her having a big influence on The Hundred.
