Year 7. Secondary school was a big change

Ignorance

Which living person do you most admire, and why?
My mate Tom Haig

What would be your fancy dress costume of choice?
Super Mario. We did the Otley Run [famous Leeds pub crawl] at the end of the season with Yorkshire to celebrate winning the Championship and that’s what I went for

What has been your biggest disappointment?
My school grades. They were average but I could have done better [one A*, one A, four Bs and two Cs – being hard on yourself, Rooty! – Ed]

What is the most important lesson life has taught you?
Assume nothing

If you were an animal, what would you be?
Lion. The males just sit around and sleep all day, along with other things…

What is the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen?
The beaches in Barbados

What becomes of the broken hearted?
I’ve no idea! Try again!?

What’s wrong with the world?
There are a few subjects I should stay off… I’ll say the English winters

In which era would you most like to have lived?
The Sixties. They sound amazing. The Beatles, George Best…

What’s your favourite joke?
Knock knock…

Who would you like to play you in a film of your life?
Brad Pitt. I think that would be an appropriate match

Who is your favourite fictional hero?
I love Batman

What is your ultimate pet hate?
People asking for tips on top of a bill

What if God was one of us?
He would rule the world?

What song would you have playing when walking out to bat?
I can’t choose it because James Tredwell uses it, but it’d be the theme tune to Only Fools And Horses. I’d like that off him
