The 2022/23 Super Smash will begin from December 23, 2022 – here are the schedule, fixture, dates, timings, and venues for New Zealand’s premier Twenty20 tournament.

This is the 18th edition of the Super Smash, one of the oldest Twenty20 leagues in the world. The tournament will feature the usual six teams – Northern Districts (team name Northern Brave), Central Districts (Central Stags), Wellington (Firebirds), Otago (Volts), Canterbury (Kings), and Auckland (Aces). They will play a double round robin league (each team will play every other team twice) until February 6.

The second- and third-ranked team will play in the Elimination Final, on February 9. The winner of this match will face the league topper in the final, on February 11.

Auckland and Wellington have won the title four times each; Central Districts and defending champions Northern Districts thrice each; Otago twice; and Canterbury once.
