Watch: Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan indulged in an impromptu bat versus ball clash ahead of the Pakistan-New Zealand ODI series, which ended with Rizwan foxing his captain with a ripping leg-break in Rawalpindi.

The two teams are set to play five ODIs right on the back of the T20I series that ended 2-2. Ahead of the first match, Rizwan and Babar were seen facing off against each other in an unusual clash, with Babar facing some spin from his long-time teammate.

Bowling with an action a tad similar to Shahid Afridi’s, Rizwan even managed to beat the outside of Babar’s bat with one that turned away sharply. In the background, you could hear: “Googliyan kar de ek aad” (bowl a few googlies too!”)

Babar was successfully able to navigate through the rest of the offerings, using his feet well to manoeuvre Rizwan’s spin.
