The Tests will be held at Mount Maunganui and Wellington respectively, beginning with the first one on February 16. England are currently placed third in the ICC Test rankings, while New Zealand are placed fifth. Both teams are technically out of the World Test Championship final race, with Australia, India, Sri Lanka and South Africa in the mix to make it to the finale at the Oval in June.
