Watch: Hardik Pandya hit a six to help India seal the Asia Cup 2022 match against Pakistan with two balls to spare.

India needed seven to win off the last over. Mohammad Nawaz, the only Pakistan bowler with an over left, came to bowl. He got a wicket first ball when he bowled fast and low from round the wicket, and Ravindra Jadeja went for a swipe and missed. Dinesh Karthik then a run off the second ball to bring the equation to six from four balls.

Pandya hit the next ball to extra-cover. Karthik wanted a single, but Pandya sent him back, and assured Karthik with a nod. Nawaz bowled the next ball flat and straight, but pitched it slightly short. Pandya biffed the ball over long on for six, much to the jubilation of the Indian crowd at the venue and across the world.
