In this quiz, you have to name every men’s Test all-rounder to have a higher batting average than bowling average.
In total there are 21 players who have taken over 100 Test wickets and scored over a 1000 Test runs with a positive average differential between bat and ball.
Two names stand out as able to stake a claim for greatest of all time status, whilst a number of names from the modern game make an appearance suggesting we may be in more of a golden age of all-rounders than we had realised.
You have six minutes to name all twenty one with lots of greats of the game included. The real test that will separate a good score from a great score in this quiz is your knowledge of all-rounders from yesteryear. Full marks here would be impressive but definitely possible.
