A World Cup quiz today – can you name all the bowlers to take a hat-tricks in cricket’s premier event?
There have been 11 instances of hat-tricks in the World Cup, the first coming all the way back in 1987, with the most recent edition, last year, comprising two hat-tricks.
It is, increasingly, a batsman’s game, but bowlers have over the years found ways to keep shining, and there really is nothing more thrilling than a hat-trick.
So, it’s just 11 entries, and you have three minutes. Just the surnames will do, and to help you along, we’ve even detailed the match in which it happened, and the victims.
Too easy, then? Perhaps. Have a go, and see for yourself!
